The HP Fortis Chromebooks are presented with a rough design, which suits students better

HP has introduced the new Fortis Chromebooks and is best suited for students who want to learn more. There are two models in the latest list, the Fortis 14 ”G10 Chromebook and the Fortis 11” G9 Q Chromebook, and both come with a 4G LTE connection, which means you can use a SIM card to access the Internet.

The highlight, however, is the sleek design you get from the G10. Compatible with the MIL-STD-810H, this top Chromebook will allow you to do your project without worrying about spilling coffee.

The latest HP Chromebooks, however, have been introduced in the US. There is no word on when these new ChromeOS laptops will arrive in India. However, as Chromebooks are popular among readers, HP is likely to bring them to India soon.

HP’s Fortis 14 ”G10 Chromebook starts at $ 349 in the US and translates to around Rs 26,000.

The G10 is HP’s latest high-end Chromebook. The company says it was “designed for the purpose of learning by nature.” Fortis, a powerful Latin, is the new HP brand of Chromebooks that stand out.

This is why you get a MIL-STD-810H rigidity that will prevent the G10 from falling, bumps, spills, and any damage caused by repeated opening and closing of the lid.

The USB-C port on the G10, as well as the reinforced power port, is protected from cords that are difficult to install and remove, while the upper surface is designed to allow easy grip and prevent fingerprints and dirt. Laptop corners have rubber straps that provide protection.

It powers the G10 Intel Celeron or Intel Pentium processor with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It has a 14-inch anti-glare display with up to 1080p resolution on the top model.

HP says the 14-inch display “gives students the freedom to engage with content while eating at the same time.” There is support for 4G LTE connectivity available as an option for customers.

Laptop is running ChromeOS, which supports Android apps from your phone. It has USB-C port, dual USB-A port, HDMI, headphone jack, and microSD card reader.

Laptop has a built-in keyboard, which students will enjoy. It has a 2-cell 47WHr battery with HP Fast Charge that fills up 90 percent in 90 minutes. The web camera uses a wide-angle HD camera and uses two microphones with better sound quality.

Price for Fortis 11 ”G9 Q has not been announced yet, but HP says shipments will begin in June in the US.

The G9 is slightly cut in terms of specification, but still has the IP41 rating and compliance with the MIL-STD-810H for durability. But some details are good enough for readers.

This laptop uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7c processor with up to 8GB of RAM and 64GB of EMMC storage. This is also very lightweight and has an 11-inch HD anti-glare screen with a maximum brightness of 220 nits.

There are also options for UWVA (ultra-wide viewing angle) and UWVA touch screen display. To connect, you have Wi-Fi 6 in this Chromebook, as well as 4G LTE support.

It has a 47WHr battery supported by HP Fast Charge. There are two USB-C ports and one USB-A port.
