Former US president and businessman Donald Trump is ready to launch his new social media platform, ‘Truth Social’.

The app is expected to be launched at Apple’s Apple store on Monday (February 21), according to a post from the trial version manager reached by Reuters.

In October 2021, Trump announced he would launch a social media platform, called Truth Social “to counter Big Tech Violence.” The app is owned by the newly formed Trump Media & Technology Group.

In a series of posts late Friday, the verified account of the network’s chief product officer, listed as Billy B., answered questions about the app from people invited to use it during its testing phase.

One user asked when the app, available this week for beta testers, would be released to the public.

“We are currently scheduled to be released at the Apple App store on Monday, Feb. 21,” the official replied.

On February 15, Trump’s eldest son, Donald Jr., posted on Twitter a screenshot of his father’s real-life @realDonaldTrump Truth Social account with one text, or “truth”, uploaded on February 14: “Get ready! Your beloved President will see you soon! ”

The launch of Truth Social will mark the return of the former US President to social media following the ban by Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube following the attack on the US Capitol on January 6, 2021 by his supporters, after he was accused of sending encouraging messages. violence.
