Dell has introduced a range of new laptops to update its Precision system. A total of five new laptops will be sold under the banner, namely Precision 5470, Precision 5570, Precision 5770, Precision 3570 and Precision 3571.
Of these, Dell Precision 5470 has been introduced as a new showstopper, allegedly a new system. “The smallest, the smallest, and the most powerful” in the world at 14 inches.
With such a big claim, we can expect to see high performance components in the new Precision 5470. Some of them include a 12th generation Intel processor, NVIDIA graphics, up to 64GB of DDR5 RAM and 4TB of built-in storage. All of this is housed inside a surprisingly lightweight and lightweight structure, weighing 1.47 kg.
Performance on the Precision 5470 is maintained by Intel’s 12th generation H-series Core processor. Memory remains as mentioned above and there is an option to choose from up to the NVIDIA RTX A1000 GPU.
There is also a new cooling system designed by Dell, especially the integrated chassis. The cooling system uses two separate outlet fans and an attached hinge structure to quickly remove hot air.
The display on the device contains an InfinityEdge panel with Quad HD + resolution, 16:10 aspect ratio, 100% Adobe RGB and 99% DCI-P3 color spaces.
Interestingly, this is the same display we see in the other two models of the Precision 5000-series. Only larger models come with the Ultra HD + panel.
In practice, the Dell Precision 5570 and 5770 come with stronger GPUs than their younger siblings. Uploads of up to NVIDIA RTX A2000 8GB and RTX A3000 12GB can be found in the Precision 5570 and 5770. Dell says the new The Precision 5570 and 5770 are also their lightweight working class in their size category.
The Precision 3000 series, including the Precision 3571, comes with 12th generation Intel Core H-series processors up to the NVIDIA RTX A2000 8GB GPU.
It also sends 64GB of DDR5 RAM and 4TB storage. The display shows upcoming Ultra HD resolution with an aspect ratio of 16: 9.
For your younger sibling, the Precision 3570 comes with Intel’s U15 and P-series processors, NVIDIA-selected graphics graphics up to the RTX A500, and better battery life.
Dell says all new Precision laptops will be available in April. The price for this has not been announced yet.
