Apple is expected to launch the iPhone 13 series in September this year. While Apple will still make the same official announcement, speculation is rife that the Cupertino-giant will launch four models in the iPhone 13 series.
According to market analyst TrendForce, the iPhone 13 will not be introduced at an exorbitant price. It is actually expected to have the same price in the iPhone 12 series.
“In terms of price, the iPhone 13 series is expected to remain the same as the iPhone 12 series,” the report said.
A Trendforce report also revealed that since devices will not come with significant hardware improvements, production costs will be lower.
In terms of specifications, the report revealed that the iPhone 13 series will come with a flexible charging circuit and this will do more with the iPhone’s battery.
Trendforce predicted that the iPhone 13 series would include larger batteries than the iPhone 12 series.
In addition, Apple will extend support to 5G mmWave in many regions outside the US with its new iPhone series. There can be significant improvements in camera and display.
As for the chipset, Apple’s next-generation processor will be based on 5nm + which will improve the performance and battery life of the devices.
The Apple iPhone 13 can come with a larger battery
Earlier, a Chinese website called MyDrivers revealed that the iPhone 13 will come with 25W fast charging support.
The iPhone 13 is expected to be able to charge up to 25W when connected to a compatible power adapter.
Apple is also expected to introduce LTPO panel mode with a refresh rate of 120 Hz on its pro models and the other two will come with 60Hz.
As mentioned earlier, Apple could introduce four models this year including the iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 13 Pro Max and iPhone 13 mini. The design is expected to look similar to the iPhone 12.
