Mumbai: Veteran actress Surekha Sikri breathed her last earlier today (July 16, 2021). The “Balika Badhu” actress died at the age of 76 from cardiac arrest. The National Award-winning actress had been ill for several months and also suffered a stroke in 2020.
As soon as news of the death of the “Badhai Ho” actress broke, celebrities from the film and television industry offered their condolences to her family and mourned the loss of such a great artist.
Dia Mirza mourned the loss of Surekha Sikri and wrote: “There is no one like her. Absolutely no one. What an extraordinary woman. An artist par excellence. Surekha Sikri was last seen featuring Zoya Akhtar’s segment of the OTT anthology film ‘Ghost Stories’. She is survived by her son Rahul Sikri.
