stock market today news- Stock Market Opening March 10, 2022: Indian stock markets opened with great momentum on Thursday, with strong performances in Asian stock markets.
The Mumbai Stock Exchange’s Sensex index opened with a gain of 1,150 points at 55,809, while Nifty gained 411 points to open trading at 16,757.
Vote counting also began in the assembly elections held in five states, which shows the trends of better BJP performance, the market is also seeing the benefits.
Sectors such as banking, automotive, IT, pharmaceutical real estate, energy are experiencing strong growth in the stock market. Large buys are seen in small cap and mid cap stocks.
Metals is the only sector where sales are observed. Sensex’s 30 shares are trading in green mark. On the other hand, out of 50 shares of Nifty, 46 shares are trading in the green mark while 4 shares are trading in the red mark.

Declining stocks
Coal India is trading down 2.71%, ONCG 2.51%, Hindalco 1.11%, ITC 0.17%.
Indian markets are benefiting from the spectacular rise in Asian markets. Taiwan Stock Market is trading with a gain of 2.53%, Straight Times 1.75%, Kospi 2.10%, Hang Seng 1.69%. The Shanghai index is also trading with a gain of 1.56%. Earlier, the US stock market closed with great momentum on Wednesday, due to which there is a boom in the market. The Nasdaq closed with a 3.59% gain of 460 points.
