Also on August 21, three Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists were killed in a clash between security forces and terrorists in the Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir. Vijay Kumar had said that one of these terrorists had been identified as Vakil Shah. Police identified the other two terrorists as Abdul Hamid Chopan and Ilyas Nazar.
