Sonu Sood first reaction after the IT Raids on Monday took to his social media to share his first reaction ever since he was accused of Rs 250 crore financial irregularities.

IT Raids: In a major revelation, the Income Tax Department on Saturday accused Bollywood actor Sonu Sood of financial irregularities worth more than Rs 250 crore through unused charity funds, bogus contracts, and circular transactions with one of its partner companies; and embezzlement to evade taxes, officials said.

And now Sonu Sood has responded to the whole affair in a strong social media post. The actor took to his social networks on Monday to share his first reaction since being accused of financial irregularities of Rs 250 cr.

In his official statement, Sonu Sood said that ‘you don’t have to always tell your storytime will’, he further added that: ‘Every rupee in my foundation is awaiting its turn to save a precious life and save a needy.’Sonu shared the post with a caption in hindi that reads as: “सख्त राहों में भी आसान सफर लगता है,हर हिंदुस्तानी की दुआओं का असर लगता है”. The revelations of Sonu Sood’s financial transaction came after Income Tax detectives dived for two days at some 28 premises in Mumbai, Delhi, Lucknow, Jaipur, Kanpur, and Gurugram in one of the biggest investigative actions of this type on an actor or related entities. Operations continue.

In a rare official statement, the income tax department, without naming it, said Sood had escaped taxes worth Rs 20 crore so far, in addition to listing other Suspected wrongdoing emerging in its ongoing investigation.
