Shishak bharti : Despite doing compulsory Nursery Teachers Training (NTT) for teaching in pre-primary classes, the youth have rejected it due to lack of job and career prospects. The Office of the Examination Regulatory Authority had sought online applications only from female candidates for 1500 seats in NTT.

Till the last date of December 8, only 542 candidates have deposited the fees while registering online. i.e. about two-thirds of the seats in the teacher training course will remain vacant this year.

Ten out of 21 NTT institutes across the state had taken affiliation from 2016. While eight private colleges have taken affiliation from the examination regulatory authority office from last year 2021. Only three colleges are before 2016.

According to Secretary Anil Bhushan Chaturvedi, the admission process will start soon.

The youth have also not shown much interest in teacher training courses CT Nursery and DPed.

Applications were invited only from women for 61 seats in CT Nursery.

Shishak bharti : A total of 219 candidates have applied for this. While for Diploma in Physical Education (DPed), applications were invited from both male and female candidates. 365 candidates have applied for 130 seats in DPed.
