Sharib Hashmi remember Jab Tak Hai Jaan again, and I almost fainted when I met Shah Rukh Khan

Be the first of many Sharib Hashmi features of this week. In the 87th edition of the series, the actor, and the father of the family talks about his first Bollywood project, Yash Chopra‘s ‘ Jab Tak Hai Jan (2012).

The actor Sharib Hashmi able to enjoy the mega-success of his new web show, the Family Man 2, but the journey has been a long time, and an inspiration. “Well, it was all going on Instagram, I lost three years of my life in a bad job-to be the father of the family came for a visit,” he said.

This was followed by a series of commemorative projects such as the Asur, the Scam of 1992, and the Barbarian, Ram Singh, Charlie, as a co-creator.

When we look back at his journey, Sharib said, ” good luck, had no effect on me today. I’ve seen both the good and the bad phases of the project. As the time changes, so there is no need to make a change.” Sharib took memory lane, remembering his very first big acting project. Here is what I shared:

What was your first acting project? How did this project come about?

It was during my days on MTV’s, UTV’s, and even on the Channel, V, and I have a lot of work, including a small cameo role in Slumdog Millionaire. I had no idea that one day I would grow up to be an actor. But after that, I quit my job and decided to devote myself to acting, and my first project was to Jab Tak Hai Jaan.

Around 2010, I started to answer, but for three years, nothing happened, except for one, the SOCIAL, and the result is called “Mehruni”. Nothing came out, so I went back to my work, and over the next 3 to 4 weeks, I received a phone call from YRF casting director Shanu Sharma.

She looked at Mehruni and invited me out to the cast of Jab Tak Hai Jaan. In the fourth round, I’ve got the shot, So Hai Jaan scene. Then, Shanu just called me, late in the evening, and he told me that I had not, but that a new actor has taken on the role of it in its place. I felt sad and helpless, but in any case, I had to get a job in an office.

A few days later, I received a phone call from YRF, this time in Yash Chopra’s assistant. He called out to me, and I thought that I had already interviewed five times, what would be the change in the sixth. However, I went in, auditioned, and got back to my office. In less than half an hour later, I received a phone call informing me that they had chosen for me, and shoot me in the course of two days. I couldn’t contain my happiness.

And then he came and for the first time at the YRF studio, I saw Yash Chopra, the training of workers, and, on the other hand, Anil Mehta, talking to a couple of people. Karan Johar and Aditya Chopra were on the team. I was shocked to see such a large number of under one roof, and that’s what I’m working with them. It was a surreal experience.

What do you remember of your first day on the set?

My first day of shooting was also my very first scene in the film when the islands of Samar (Shah Rukh Khan) remove the skin of my character and Zayn’s face. I didn’t rehearse the scene, the assistant director.

Once upon a time, back when the magazine was removed, I saw a SHARK self-contained. He said, “Hi, I’m Shah Rukh Khan, and I almost fainted. After the shooting, and the packaging is Shah Rukh Lord has told me that he would like to work with me, and I’m a very good actor. Even Yash Chopra, the gentleman, and complimented me.
