Shabaash Mithu Movie Review: Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu’s film ‘Shabaash Mithu’, who became famous with the film ‘Pink’, has been released. The film is based on the real life of Indian cricket captain Mithali Raj, in which Taapsee Pannu plays the role of Mithali, while Mumtaz Sorkar is playing the role of female cricketer Jhulan Goswami. The trailer of this film was well-liked by the people. Let us know how this film is and can it entertain you this weekend?

Story

In ‘Shabaash Mithu’, Mithali’s journey from childhood to becoming a cricketer and her ups and downs has been shown in the best way. The film is the story of Taapsee Pannu aka Mithu who has to fight a lot to make a career in cricket. When Mithu was young, he was fond of cricket. But cricket was considered a men’s game, due to which it was not allowed to play. The story of the film begins with the 8-year-old Mithali learning Bharatnatyam. Only then does he meet a spoiled girl named Noori. Both learn Bharatnatyam together, Mithali cannot teach Bharatnatyam to Nuri but Nuri teaches Mithali to play cricket. After that both of them started going to play cricket without informing them from home. Then one day little Mithu is noticed by the capable coach Sampath. The coaches test him at first sight and start teaching him to play cricket.

Shabaash Mithu Movie Review: During match practice, when Mithu is unable to keep his foot on the crease, he also pokes a nail in his shoe. After coming home, they also tie ice on his swollen feet. Then with the help of the coach, Mithu moves towards fulfilling his dream, but in the cricket academy, he is harassed by other female cricketers. By tolerating all these things, after suffering troubles, shedding blood and sweat, when she comes to play in the field, she gives a suitable answer to every ball with her bat. You will have to watch the film to know what happens next.

Taapsee is a great actress but she has not been able to bring Mithali on screen in this film. She has done a great job on her body but she could not get into the role of Mithali. The work of Vijay Raaz and the rest of the supporting cast was good. But the film starts boring us instead of entertaining us after the interval. What could have been the most interesting in the film was the World Cup match, but what Srijit Mukherjee missed in making the sequence interesting was the training sequence when little Mithali learns cricket, played by Inayat Verma. Inayat has earlier appeared in ‘Ludo’ and in this film she wins hearts with her acting and innocence.

There are also some sequences in the film that make us think, like there is a scene when there is discrimination against the women’s cricket team at the airport, while when the men’s cricket team reaches the airport, there is a line of selfie takers, their There is a VIP gate for them, people are cheering for them. At one place no one even recognizes Mithali and a lady asks her to click a pic with her favorite male cricketer, and one scene was also amazing when the team comes after losing the World Cup but winning hearts.

see or not?

‘Shabaash Mithu’ is not just a story of struggle and success of one woman cricketer but the story of struggle and success of all women who want to break the shackles of their feet. This film wants to give a special message that no sport belongs to men or women. In this film, every artist seen as the players of the women’s cricket team has worked hard. Inayat Verma as Little Mithu, Kasturi Jagnam as Little Noori and Shilpa Marwah in the role of Sukumari have done a good job. You can watch this movie at home with your family members.
