The release of the Samsung Galaxy 4 has already appeared online to suggest the design and details of the company’s next smartwatch ahead of its official announcement.
Leaked renders show the rounded Galaxy Watch 4, which makes it look more like the Galaxy Watch Active 2 than the Galaxy Watch 3.
The new smartwatch is also said to have a bioelectrical impedance (BIA) sensor to monitor body composition. This may be in addition to monitoring real-time heart rate and tracking oxygen oxygen saturation (SpO2).
The open renderings sent by 91Mobiles are said to showcase the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 with four different color options: Black, Silver, Black and White, and Rose Gold.

Samsung is likely to keep some of the features of the Glass Watch 3 in its new smartwatch, including flexible cable design and body buttons.
However, the full build of the Galaxy Watch 4 is not compatible with last year’s smartwatch. Looks like there are round edges and a thin profile on the Galaxy Watch 3 that comes with a sporty design.
Instead of being close to the Galaxy Watch 3 in appearance, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 open-up renders suggest that it may be very similar to the Galaxy Watch Active 2.
Samsung’s new smartwatch can also come in 40mm and 44mm sizes and fit and 5ATM water resistance, MIL-STD 810G durability, and Gorilla Glass DX + protection, as suggested behind the clock from the dedicated offerings. You may also have GPS support.
Last month, Samsung and Google partnered with Tizen OS and Google Wear OS.
The integration may launch the Galaxy Watch 4. It can allow for battery life and better performance as well as support for new apps and face clocks.
In addition to leaked offers, tipster Max Weinbach tweeted about the presence of a BIA sensor on the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4.
It can allow users to measure their body fat and muscle mass. Samsung may also continue to provide heart rate monitoring support and SpO2 rating on the Galaxy Watch 4. Both features were part of the Glass Watch 3 last year.
The Samsung Galaxys Watch 4 is expected to have a variety of LTE and Wi-Fi, and both variants may have support for NFC features including offline music playback.
Along with the vanilla Galaxy Watch 4, Samsung may also have the Glass Watch 4 Active in the works, with a sporty design.
Although Samsung has not yet made a public announcement, both the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Active are expected to launch at the Galaxy Unpacked event on August 3.
