One of the most popular applications for benchmarks, AnTuTu has removed Realme GT from its platform to cheat benchmark points. The Chinese software company says that the recently released results of Realme GT performance on multiple readloads and JPG codecs are integrated.
The Realme family has issued a statement on the matter. “Realme GT is equipped with the latest Snapdragon 888 5G platform, which gives users the highest performance. Benchmark benchmarks for Realme GT all the exact details under current versions of Antutu’s benchmark. Realme has always been committed to bringing users the best performance, real user experience is the most important thing for Realme. On the other hand, with regard to the problems being tested by both parties, we are in contact with Antutu to resolve it properly, ”the statement said.
Launched with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor, the Realme said their registered machine registered more than 750,000 points in the AnTuTu 8 model.
The AnTuTu team purchased a high-end Realme GT variant to see if the bench claims made by the company’s Vice President Xu Qi Chase were true. The sales unit received more than 7,50,000 but the AnTuTu team was not satisfied. In dealing with the process, two issues were identified with the way the phone conducts benchmark testing.
In a multi-modal test, the Realme editor slows down strands intended to run on smaller CPU cores to run on larger cores. The second issue was noted during the UX Test in which JPG compression was performed. It was observed that the phone exceeded a large amount of processing which resulted in a pixelated image with spaces.
