Realme C15, Realme C12 getting Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0 update

Realme C15, Realme C12 received a stable version of Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0 update. The release is expected to be done in batches and should be found on all appropriate devices soon if bugs are not found.

Realme has provided its smartphones with two new features and automation improvements, system, launcher, security and privacy, games, and more categories.

Realme C15 and Realme C12 were launched in India in August last year with Android 10-based Realme UI out of the box.

[Realme] announced the revision of Realme C15 (Review) and Realme C12 (Review) with a few posts in its public forum.

The two smartphones are getting many new features and improvements with the update. Both of these smartphones are getting the Realme UI 2.0 update, based on Android 11.

With personal preferences, users of the Realme C15 and Realme C12’s users will be able to place third-party app icons on the home screen. Smartphones also find three new black modes in the form of advanced, medium and soft mode.

Additionally, wallpapers and icons can also be changed to Dark Mode and display differences can be adjusted depending on the brightness of the stand. System upgrades include new weather animation and vibration effects optimized for text input and gameplay.

Users will now be able to delete a folder or merge two or more folders together. Realme C15 and Realme C12’s now have the option to change App Lock from quick switch settings.

Smartphones now have the opportunity to send a low-battery message that shares the location of the smartphone when the battery is less than 15 percent.

Realme has also added a very powerful SOS function. In addition, there is a Permission Manager set up.

Realme has changed the way users can call a Game Assistant and allow users to share their own hotspot using QR code.

The photo app on Smartphones has found an improved image editing feature with “advanced algorithms and many markup effects and filters.” The video camera on the Realme C15 and Realme C12 detected the zoom feature inside and the grid feature.

HeyTap Cloud is now able to back up photos, documents, system settings, WeChat data, and more easily migrate to a new smartphone. Realme also added a Sleep Capsule feature to help users plan their rest and sleep time.

The type of firmware that can be updated is RMX2180_11.C.05 for Realme C15 and RMX2189_11.C.05 for Realme C12. There is no mention of update size.

Users are advised to update their smartphone while connected to a strong Wi-Fi connection and charged.

Updates will be phased out and will automatically access the appropriate devices on the air.
