National Eligibility and Entrance Test, NEET PG 2022 Postponement of the exam is demanded by medical aspirants, soon after the National Examinations Board, NBE announced the new date of the exam for March 12, 2022. Disturbed by the conflict between the NEET board and the exam schedule, students took to social media, calling the system ‘unfair’.

Postpone the NEET Postgraduate Exam 2022! – is what is requested now. This time, the medical aspirants have observed that the adequate gap of a few months which is granted between the previous advice and the next examination has not been maintained by NBE. The concern is more for mid-tier incumbents.

NEET PG Exam 2022! – Why are students irritated and asking for a postponement?
Seeing the NEET PG 2021 consultation dates, one would notice that the consultation does not finally end until March 16, 2022. However, according to the newly released schedule for NEET PG 2022, the exam would take place on March 12, 2022.

This has upset many candidates, as those expecting to secure places in the later rounds of counseling no longer know whether to apply for the next exam. Some even said that even if they applied for the exam, they hardly had time to prepare and make a fair attempt.

Several NEET PG aspirants spoke to Times Now (on condition of anonymity) and said the problem is not just that many aspirants take another exam in the middle of the board. It’s much bigger than that and extends to the internship aspect as well.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many medical exams have been postponed, leading many students to start their internships late. NEET Postgraduate 2022 aspirants further shared that under usual circumstances, interns are eligible to run for NEET PG as their internships are completed before the start of counseling. However, this time due to the delay, it is likely that many aspirants will not be eligible to sit for the postgraduate exam, depriving them of a fair chance.

On condition of anonymity, some NEET PG aspirants have also shared that they plan to file a petition asking for the exam to be postponed. Their concerns are as mentioned above and all they want is a postponement of the review for 2-3 months so that there is enough of a gap between the current counseling process and the next review.
