Postpone NEET-UG Sept To October: NEET aspirants post requests on Twitter

NEET aspirants across the country are urging the central government to postpone the NEET-UG 2021 exam to October in view of the current pandemic.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to hold the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2021 on September 12 this year, although students are urging the government to postpone entry until October given the current situation of Covid-19.

In an effort to postpone the NEET-UG 2021 entrance exam to a later date, students posted their opinions using #PostponeNEETUGSeptToOctober, which has been trending on Twitter.

According to the new paper pattern of NEET UG 2021, one section of the question paper will be mandatory and will consist of 35 questions, while the other will have 15 questions, out of which students will have to answer only 10.

Students have been relentlessly posting requests on social media, urging Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan to postpone the NEET UG 2021 exam. Some students are also asking for multiple attempts, similar to JEE Main 2021.

Several students and politicians have also spoken out against holding the NEET exam in Tamil Nadu, saying the exam should be canceled in the state. According to the official announcement, NEET UG 2021 will take place on September 12 of this year.
