“Postpone NEET UG 2022”, Undergraduate Medical Aspirants Demand On Twitter

Aspirants are using the hashtag #NTAdeferNEETUG to request that the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET-UG) 2022 exam be postponed due to a lack of preparation time. With over 20,000 tweets, the hashtag #NTAdeferNEETUG is trending on Twitter. The NEET-UG 2022 exam is set to take place on July 17.

Aspirants are complaining about the postponement in conducting NEET UG 2021 counseling and the subsequent delay in many states, which has deprived them of time to prepare. People on twitter argue that holding the exam on July 17 is unjust.

The NEET(UG)-JEE Students Association used Twitter to request that the National Testing Agency (NTA), education minister Dharmendra Pradhan, and the ministry of education postpone the NEET-UG exam because droppers are not getting enough time to revise. “The NEET-UG exam was held on September 12th last year and on July 17th this year! The dropper isn’t even getting 10 months! Why should students suffer if officials took longer than usual to announce the results and conduct the counselling process? #NTAdeferNEETUG, “stated the organisation

A Twitter account called “POSTPONE NEET UG” requested a four-week extension of the NEET-UG 2022 exam date and tweeted, “This is our hand folding request to @DG NTA, @EduMinOfIndia, @dpradhanbjp, please please listen to the voice of thousands of students we are shouting from last two months!!!! #NEETUG2022 #NTAdeferNEETUG”
