Postpone NEET UG 2022 Hope Is Still Alive!

Most candidates desire to know that NEET UG 2022 has been postponed at this time. The NEET 2022 date postponement is currently on candidates’ thoughts. Since the National Testing Agency (NTA) released the exam notification, they have been requesting a postponement of the exam by at least a month. They have made their appeal for a postponement of NEET UG 2022, citing various justifications, on social media sites like Twitter. The demand had increased following the NEET UG 2021 counseling’s reopening for a second time. The dropouts now have less than 10 months to study for the exam, according to the applicants.

So, will the NEET UG 2022 exam be delayed? Stakeholders are waiting for NTA to make a decision on this. However, it is unlikely that demand for the NEET UG 2022 postpone will materialise given the current state of affairs. The application period for NEET 2022 ended on May 20, and a rectification period is still open through May 27. The likelihood of NEET UG being postponed this year is low because everything is proceeding according to plan.

But on 21 June 2022 Gopal Shetty, a Loksabha member, said to BNNIN News that he will meet with education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on June 24 to Raise Student’s demands for a Postponement of NEET UG 2022 Exams.

“if it is possible, will Give a written letter delaying the exam by one month because there is a lot going on in the country and students need more time to prepare” he further added.

Twitter is overloaded with tweets appealing for the postponement of NEET UG 2022. Parents and students have both called for the postponement of exams.

A Twitter user wrote, “With NEET date approaching students are facing a huge pressure. Anxiety has become very common due toh this excessive stress because of which many are unable to study. Just give us 40days and that’s all we need.”

When counselling can be postponed, the Association requests that JEE Two postponements are possible, so why should NEET UG 2022 suffer and compromise? The students claim that the NEET UG 2021 counselling backlog was not their fault and that they do not have enough time to study for the medical entrance exam because the NEET UG 2022 exam is scheduled for July 17.

“I literally don’t know why govt is ignoring #neet students like this?? They are even not responding well! Students are stressed! We just neet 30-40 days extra for better preparation and nothing else! Counseling delay wasn’t our fault!,” stated another Twitter user.

Why Students Want Postpone NEET UG 2022 Exam

To provide students extra time to prepare for NEET 2022, the NEET UG is being asked to be postponed. They are even more anxious because they have less than two months to prepare for the very competitive exam.

The NEET 2021 counselling process, which ended on May 15, has been reopened, which is one of the reasons why candidates are asking for the NEET 2022 exam to be delayed. Students who want to take part in this round as well as the NEET 2022 exam will have only about three months to prepare for the exam, which is not enough time to succeed on such a difficult exam.

This image summarises the additional justifications given by students for wanting the NEET UG 2022 exam postponed.
