The University of Mumbai (MU) has announced the results of PET (Ph.D Entrance Test) on its official website mu.ac.in. The entrance test was held online for admission to Ph.D and M.Phil courses. Students will be able to view their test results with the help of a link, user ID, and password given to them during the test.

A total of 4304 students passed PET 2021. Students will be able to view the results with the link in which they excelled in the test. About 7706 students had already passed the PhD exams. MU PET was held from March 25 to 27.
PET 2021 was a test of 100 marks, those who got at least 50 percent marks will be able to be accepted. For the reserved category elections, the minimum score requirement is 45 percent. Candidates for the shortlist now have their documents confirmed and paid a reservation fee.

Earlier this year, Maharashtra University introduced a number of new courses including MA in public relations and communication, and MA in journalism in indigenous languages. Both courses are conducted in Hindi, English, and Marathi.

In the meantime, due to delays in board exams and subsequent results, the admission process for MU degree courses and higher grades is expected to be delayed. While CBSE and CISCE have postponed their 12th grade exams and students may choose to drop out of class 10 exams, the Maharashtra Board said it would consider the move and take a call later. For admission to FYJC programs, SSC marks are considered in Maharashtra.
