ONLINE EXAM DEMAND: AKTU STUDENT STAGE ROAD(NH-24) BLOCKADE

ONLINE EXAM DEMAND: The students demonstrated in front of the AKTU campus and walked to Bakshi Ka Talab(Lucknow).

There is a constant online exam demand that is starting from December 28th.

The student delegation met with the vice-chancellor but the solution was not found.

Students are constantly agitating for the proposed semester exams of Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University to be online from December 28. Around 15 days, As the campaign unfolded on Twitter and on other social media platforms, on Thursday, students also demonstrated outside the AKTU campus on this matter. The AKTU administration also had talks with some students but no solution was found.

Students constantly demand that when AKTU has done studies online, then why are the exams conducted offline, they should be online as well. They says that corona cases are increasing continuously, in such a situation the offline examination is not safe. Also on Thursday, around 100 students joined outside the AKTU campus at 6 a.m. with the same request.

After protesting until noon, these people walked on foot and headed towards Bakshi Ka Talab. A protest started at the crossroads, but soon after, the SDM arrived with the police and after convincing the students, took them back to the AKTU. The students leading the protest were told that the AKTU administration would notify them any decision on the case before 8 p.m.

Friday. After this assurance, the students returned. Student leaders Yashwant Yadav, Ranjit Yadav, Pawan Barana, Samajwadi Chhatra District President Sabha Mahendra Yadav, State Secretaries Shubham Pratap Singh, Uday Pratap Singh, Vivek Shukla were among those who protested.

The Online Campaign is Also Underway

There is also a campaign underway on social media to organize online exams. Tweets are continuously being created from the AKTU Student Association’s Twitter account, and more than 21,000 students are connected to them on Telegram statewide.
