OnePlus 8T Begins Getting OxygenOS 11.0.9.9 Update with Hotfix Nightscape mode problem

The OnePlus 8T gets the OxygenOS 11.0.9.9 update with some software tweaks and camera improvements. The revitalization is currently underway in North America and is expected to reach European markets soon.

Significantly, India will not be receiving this particular update. OnePlus also adds the OnePlus Store app to the smartphone and states that it can be released if users do not want it.

The OnePlus 8T was launched in October 2020 and came with Android 11 out of the box.

OnePlus made an announcement at a forum about the OnePlus 8T (Update) to receive the OxygenOS 11.0.9.9 update. The update brings steady development of the entire system and fixes known problems.

It also fixes the problem when the screen was using lighting while taking pictures using Nightscape mode.

OnePlus also adds the OnePlus Store app that allows users to manage their OnePlus account, get easy access to support, get member benefits only, and purchase OnePlus products.

The firmware version on the North American market is 11.0.9.9.KB05AA and the European market is 11.0.9.9.KB05BA.

OnePlus did not say why the update was not released on the Indian market. Update size is not mentioned but users still have to update their smartphones while it is connected to a strong Wi-Fi connection and plugged in.

Updates will be done in a growing way and should be accessible to the OnePlus 8T smartphones automatically in the air. To check the update for yourself, check Settings> System> System updates.
