Here’s a look back at some of the classics from Raj Kapoor’s film. Born as Shrishti Nath Kapoor, the late Raj Kapoor focused on a wide range of filmmaking, including acting, directing, and production.

The actor passed away on the same day in 1988. On his birthday, we remember this veteran artist by visiting a few of the old categories filming his film. From Awara to Bobby, here are eight movies that put Kapoor’s art to good use.

Barsaat (1949)

Awara (1951)

Chori Chori (1956)

Chori Chori is said to have been inspired by the Hollywood movie It Happened One Night.Naturally popular, Chori Chori is very inspired by the classic Hollywood It Happened One Night. Also present were the famous Nargis and Raj Kapoor on the screen, who also saved the day with their chemicals.

Mera Naam joker Raj Kapoor directed and starred in the 1970s film Mera Naam Joker. Mera Naam Joker is directed and produced by Raj Kapoor. It is also said to have been a favorite of Raj Kapoor from his career, and he was under inclusion for six years until it finally shone in the 1970s.
