Omicron 14 cases arrived in the country today

Omicron case in India: cases are continuously increasing in the country. New Corona variants were confirmed in 14 people on Thursday. Of these, there are five cases in Karnataka, 4 each in the national capital Delhi and Telangana and one in Gujarat.

With this, the number of infected Omicron in the country rose to 87. Among them, Maharashtra has the maximum number of 32 cases.

Of these, 25 recovered from the infection. The Union Home Secretary held a review meeting on Thursday amid growing Omicron cases.

Delhi:
Health Minister Satyendar Jain said so far 10 cases of “Omicron”, a new form of the corona virus, have been reported in the nation’s capital, and none of them are reported in the state. ‘was “serious”.

He said 40 people had been admitted to Loknayak Jai Prakash Hospital (LNJP) on the basis of suspicion. Among them, 38 are infected with the corona virus.

Jain had said on Tuesday that the “Omicron” cases have not yet spread to the community level and the situation is under control. The condition of all ‘Omicron’ patients is also stable.

Karnataka:
Karnataka’s Health Minister Dr Sudhakar K said five cases of Omicron have been confirmed in the state. All five patients took both doses of the corona vaccine. So far, 8 people have been infected with Omicron in the state.

Telangana:
The Telangana health department said omicron has been confirmed in four people in the state. Of these, three are from Kenya and one is of Indian descent.

Gujarat:
A 41-year-old health worker from Vijaypur tehsil village in Mehsana district in Gujarat was found infected with the Omicron form of the corona virus. District Health Director Dr Vishnubhai Patel said, “Women are Certified Social Health Activists (ASHAs).

She had never traveled abroad, but had come into contact with a relative who had recently returned from Zimbabwe. He is being treated in a separate ward set up in a government hospital in the city of Vadnagar in Mehsana and his condition is stable, they said.

Review meeting of Union Home Secretary:

Union Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla has reviewed the Kovid-19 situation in the country amid reports of new Omicron cases reported in various parts of the country. A spokesperson for the Interior Ministry said that the health preparedness of all Union territories had also been reviewed to deal with the COVID-19 situation.

Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan attended the meeting, which was also attended by administrative officials from Union territories. The spokesperson said: “To examine the situation of Kovid-19 in the Union territories,

the Union Minister of the Interior today chaired a meeting with the Secretary of Health of the Union The preparation of the health infrastructure of all the territories of the Union to deal with Kovid-19 was also reviewed.

The first case of Omicron happened in South Africa. Since then, this variant has reached around 80 countries so far. Omicron variants spread faster than Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta, and Delta Plus.
