ODI: Deepak Chahar’s amazing innings turned water

ODI-India vs South Africa 3rd ODI: In the third and final ODI played in Newlands, Cape Town, South Africa beat India by 4 points. With that, South Africa knocked out India in the three-game series.

The South African team could score 287 runs in 49.5 overs after playing the first. In response, the Indian team were down to 283 runs in 49.2 overs and the host team won the match by four runs. At bat for South Africa, Quinton de Kock scored 124 runs. In bowling, Andile Phehlukwayo and Lungi Ngidi took three wickets each.

Not Working Deepak Chahar’s Brave Sleeves

Chasing the target of 288 runs from South Africa, the Indian side had lost seven wickets for 223 runs in 42.1 overs at a time. After that, Chahar played a stormy 54-run 34-ball inning and turned the game in India’s favor. However, when India needed 10 points from 18 balls to win, Chahar was fired for a big hit and India lost the game they won.

Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan hit half centuries

Team India, in pursuit of the target, did not get off to a good start. Captain KL Rahul returned to the flag on the total score of 18 runs. He scored 9 points on 10 balls. After that, Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan had put the team in a strong position with half centuries. The two shared 98 runs for the second wicket.

For South Africa(ODI), Lungi Ngidi took 58 and Andile Phehlukwayo took three wickets for 40 runs. While Dwayne Pretorius got two wickets. Other than that, Keshav Maharaj and Sisanda Magala each got a wicket.
