NVS Postponed JNVST Class 6th Entrance Exam due to Administrative Reasons

Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has postponed the JNVST 6th grade entrance exams which were expected to be held on May 16 for “administrative reasons”. The new dates, according to NVS, will be announced at least 15 days before the entrance test.
The JNVST entry test was originally scheduled for April 10, but was postponed to May 16 nationwide except for Mizoram, Meghalaya, and Nagaland. In these areas, the test was scheduled for June 19.

It will be notified at least 15 days before the election date,” NVS said in an official statement.
JNVST is an entrance test designed for admission to class 6. This is the second phase of the entrance test. In the first phase of JNVST, more than 30 lakh students were enrolled. JNVST was approved for 48,000 seats. There are around 626 JNV schools functioning nationwide.

Students applying for NVS Class 6 Admission 2021 seats will be assessed on the basis of their performance in the JNV selection exam. This paper will consist of three sections with questions of some kind. There are 80 questions in total with 100 marks. There are 80 questions for 100 marks. Marks obtained from test candidates are not disclosed. It is an offline test.

At least 75 percent of the seats in the region will be filled by the most rural candidates in the region and the remaining seats will be filled in the urban areas of the region, as directed.
