NIMCET 2021 postponed due to COVID surge

The National Institute of Technology (NIT), Raipur has decided to postpone the NIT Master of Computer Applications Common Entrance Test (NIMCET) 2021 scheduled for May 23. This decision comes after a further increase in COVID-19 cases. The institute has made it clear that they will announce the revised test date 15 days prior to the test.

All candidates who were due to appear on NIMCET 2021 were advised to maintain a standard tab on the official website, www.nimcet.in. At NIT, Raipur also postponed other test-related activities such as optional completion, counseling and accreditation.

In an official statement issued by NIT, Raipur read, “Given the prevalence of the COVID-19 epidemic and the safety and well-being of candidates and examiners, NIMCET-2021 test day and related. jobs i.e. date of voluntary completion, counseling, acceptance etc. is suspended until further notice. ”

The NIMCET2021 application process was closed on April 7. The NIMCET examination was for admission to the Master of Computer Applications at various National Institute of Technology. The various NIT branches are Allahabad, Bhopal, Agartala, Calicut, Kurukshetra, Jamshedpur, Durgapur, Surathkal, Warangal, Raipur and Tiruchirappalli.

This year’s NIMCET registration process started on March 11 and the admission card was expected to be released on May 15. NIT Master of Computer Applications Common Entrance Test applications are accepted online only. To complete the application process, regular baptismal candidates had to pay a non-refundable Rs 2500 fee while those under the Caste, Tribeged Tribe and Paralyzed category had to pay a fee of Rs 1250.

After the successful completion of the application process, each candidate receives his or her login details.
