New cases of Covid in India drop below 40,000 with 38,667 new infections; The recovery rate is 97.45%

New cases of Covid: As per Union Health Ministry, India recorded 8,667 new COVID-19 cases and 35,743 recoveries on Friday. India’s Active caseload currently stands at 3,87,673.

New cases of Covid: A day after reporting 40,120 new cases of Covid-19, India on Friday recorded 8,667 new cases of COVID-19 and 35,743 recoveries in the past 24 hours. A total of 478 new deaths have been reported in the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 4 30,732

According to the Union Ministry of Health, active cases constitute 1.21% of total cases. India’s number of active cases currently stands at 3,87,673 while the recovery rate currently stands at 97.45%.

The total number of recoveries across the country is now 3 13 38 088. The Center in its health bulletin informed that the weekly positivity rate remains below 5%, currently at 2.05%. The daily positivity rate at 1.73%; less than 3% for the last 19 days.

The nation’s capital recorded no Covid deaths on Friday for the third day in a row and the ninth time since the start of the second wave, as there have been 50 new cases in the past 24 hours, the Delhi government health bulletin.

The total Covid tally in Delhi stands at 14,368,988, while the death toll stands at 25,068. The city has 468 active cases, including 164 treated in home isolation, which equates to an infection rate of 0.03.

A total of 84 patients were discharged from the hospital in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of healings to 14,11,452. The infection cure rate was 98.22% and the infection rate was 98.22%. 0.06% Covid infection. The death rate remains at 1.74%.
