NEET UG 2022: Medical students urge PM Modi to postpone NEET exam

Medical students have petitioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi to postpone the NEET-UG exam, which is set to take place on July 17, 2022. The aspirants used the social media platform Twitter to express their concerns. NEET UG has requested that the PM consider deferring the medical entrance exam because the CBSE Board exam will end on June 15, leaving them with very little time to prepare for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, as #MODIJIdeferNEETUG trended on Twitter.

They had previously written to the National Testing Agency (NTA) requesting that the medical entrance exam be postponed.

The NTA is expected to release the admit card 15 days prior to the date of NEET-UG. However, NTA has not yet announced the official date as of now. Registered candidates can download their NEET admit cards from the official website – neet.nta.nic.in.
