The Motorola Edge Berlin, the Motorola Edge Berlin NA, the Motorola Edge Kyoto, and the Motorola Edge Pstar are thought to be the codes for future smartphones from the Lenovo-owned company.
These are said to be successors to the Motorola Edge and Motorola Edge + since April last year.
Now, the publication has shared specific details of these models, suggesting that the Motorola Edge Berlin will be powered by Snapdragon 778G SoC while the Motorola Edge Pstar may not be supported by Snapdragon 865 or Snapdragon 870 SoC.
Motorola Edge Berlin, Motorola Edge Berlin NA details
According to the German book Techniknews, the Motorola Edge is a European model while the Motorola Edge NA is a North American model.
They are expected to arrive in the Emerald, Stout, and White color options. Both of these phones can be supported by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC.
They can come with 6GB and 8GB RAM options with 128GB and 256GB storage.
The Motorola Edge Berlin and Edge Berlin NA are expected to come with triple rear cameras with both 108-megapixel S5KHM2 low-resolution lenses.
The European model may come with a 16-megapixel secondary shooter and an 8-megapixel tertiary camera sensor.
The North American model may come with a second 8-megapixel sensor and a 2-megapixel tertiary sensor. Up front, both models are expected to carry 32-megapixel selfie shooters.
Details of the Motorola Edge Pstar
The book states that the smartphone has a model number XT2153 and can be offered in black, blue and white.
It can be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC or Snapdragon 870 SoC. It will install the X55 5G modem.
It is expected to come with 6GB, 8GB or 12GB of RAM with 128GB or 256GB of storage.
Depending on the brightness, it may carry a triple rear camera setting like the European Motorola Edge Berlin. Previously, the Motorola Edge Pstar could come with a 16-megapixel or 32-megapixel selfie shooter.
Details of the Motorola Edge Kyoto
This model is considered to be the cheapest in the series. There is very little information available about the rumored Motorola Edge Kyoto but the publication says it will handle the same 108 megapixels as the other two models.
There may be a second 8-megapixel sensor and a 2-megapixel tertiary sensor. For selfies, this model can come with a 32-megapixel selfie camera.
It should be noted that Motorola has not shared any official information on the above-mentioned smartphone models so this information should be taken with a little salt.
