Mi Pad 5 and Mi Pad 5 Pro with Snapdragon 870 SoC introduced

Xiaomi unveiled a new range of tablets in China on Tuesday evening. The electronics maker introduced the Mi Pad 5 and Mi Pad 5 Pro during the mega launch event.

This was the only online launch event where the company re-launched the Mi Mix 4 smartphone and the 2021 Mi TV OLED range.

The Mi Mix smartphone has definitely been the star of the program as it comes with an unobtrusive selfie camera and is the first smartphone in the world to pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ SoC.

The Mi Pad 5 series, on the other hand, comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC which has been a staple for 2021 low-end smartphones.

Both tablets come with 11-inch LCD screens, large batteries, and Dolby Atom audio support. There are still rumors that Xiaomi plans to launch the tablet in India at some point.

Prices for Mi Pad 5 and Mi Pad 5 Pro

Xiaomi sold the Mi Pad 5 very angrily. It will cost you CNY 1999 (approximately Rs 23,000) with 6GB RAM and 128GB different storage while 6GB RAM and 256GB separate storage device costs CNY 2299 (approximately Rs 26,300).

The Mi Pad 5 Pro is an additional premium offering starting at CNY 2499 (approximately Rs 28,600) of 6GB RAM and 128GB of different storage, 6GB RAM and 256GB separate storage cost XNY 2799 (approximately Rs 32,100) while 8GB of high RAM and various storage costs of 256GB CNY 3499 (approximately Rs 40,100).

Features of Mi Pad 5 and Mi Pad 5 Pro and descriptions

The Mi Pad 5 comes with an 11-inch LCD display with a 2560×1600 screen resolution. The display supports 120Hz refresh rate, HDR 10 and TrueTone.

It comes with Dolby Viison support and will use MIUI for Pad. The tablet gets high resolution audio support and has Dolby Atmos support.

It packs an 8720mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. It has a dual rear camera setup with a 13-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixel second camera.

The Mi Pad 5 Pro will come with an 11-inch LCD display with the same 2560×1600 screen resolution and 120Hz refresh rate support, HDR 10, TrueTone and Dolby Vision.

This one has a large 50-megapixel camera with a second 13-megapixel camera. The Mi Pad 5 Pro packs an 8600 mAh battery and supports 67W fast charging. It also uses MIUI for Pad.
