Makers- Film 83: The film ’83’ about the Indian cricket team which won the 1983 World Cup is ready for release. Tomorrow, that is to say on December 24, this film will be released on the big screen. Actor Ranveer Singh played the role of Kapil Dev in the movie ’83’. The film will also feature the characters of other Indian players who first won the World Cup in India 38 years ago.
According to the report, the directors spent a lot of money to make the movie ’83’. Along with this, the makers gave it a huge sum to show the characters of the players of the 1983 Indian World Cup team, including Kapil Dev.
According to a report from Bollywood Hungama, the directors gave members of the World Cup winning team around Rs 15 crore for the movie ’83’. On the other hand, Captain Kapil Dev has the most money. According to the report, the directors (Makers)of the film donated five crore rupees to Kapil Dev.
Speaking of other characters in the film, actor Tahir Raj Bhasin played the role of veteran cricketer Sunil Gavaskar. Jatin Sarna played the role of Yashpal Sharma, Saqib Saleem played the role of Mohinder Amarnath and Dhairya Karva played the role of Ravi Shastri.
Apart from that, Jeeva played the character of Krishnamachari Srikkanth, Hardy Sandhu played the character of Madan Lal Lucky, Ammy Virk played the character of Balwinder Sandhu. Along with this Sahil Khattar played the role of Syed Kirmani, Chirag Patil played the role of Sandeep Patil. On the other hand, Pankaj Tripathi will be seen in the role of PR team manager Man Singh.
