Although Maharashtra has shown a decline in day-to-day living conditions, the country’s government is of the view that strict travel restrictions should continue.

Meanwhile, the coronavirus vaccine for those over the age of 18 and under 44 has been suspended in Maharashtra as of today due to a lack of vaccines.

All doses purchased by the country’s government at this age are passed to those over the age of 45, Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope after a Cabinet meeting.

“There is a shortage of vaccines, which is why we are considering a temporary vaccine for 18-44 year olds. 2.75 lakh vaccines are left for this age group to be used for 45 years or more. The second dose is very important,” said Tope.
