Leica Leitz enters the crowded smartphone category with the launch of its first handset – the Leitz Phone 1.
The largest phone retailer for cameras is provided by the company’s technology, while the Leitz Phone 1 features a 20-megapixel 1-inch sensor with a 19mm-sized length.
The phone has a magnetic snow lens for a rear camera setting on the back for extra protection.
Up front, the Leica Leitz Phone 1 has a hole-punc display and the phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC.

Leica’s first phone, called the Leitz Phone 1, has been launched in Japan. It sells for JPY 187,920 (approximately Rs. 1,25,800) and is listed on the SoftBank site.
The phone is available with one Leica Silver color option. Leitz Phone 1 will be on sale in Japan sometime in July.

The phone measures approximately 74x162x9.5mm and weighs 212 grams.
