Samsung is a leading brand when it comes to mobile phones as it has a large number of them. To stay at the top of the category, the South Korean brand needs to keep that number, which means the standard introduction of folding devices.
With that in mind, Samsung may be planning to launch the next generation Galaxy Z Fold and Galaxy Z Flip not only in international markets but also in India. Compatible with them could be the Galaxy Watch 5.
According to the 91Mobiles report, the battery models, previously seen on the global control website, appeared on the Bureau of Indian Standards website, also known as BIS.
There is a listing screen on the website showing the battery models of both upcoming folding phones and smartwatch, which are reportedly set to launch later this year.
These versions are EB-BF936ABY and EB-BF937ABY for Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4, EB-BF721ABY, EB-BF722ABY, and EB-BF723ABY for Galaxy Z Flip 4, and EB-BR910ABY, EB -BR925ABYBRY, and the EB-BR925ABYBRY, and the EB-BF723ABY for the Galaxy Watch 5.
Usually, when an electronic product, such as a smartphone or smartwatch, is set for launch, you must obtain the required certificates and permits from the governing body of the country of origin.
The Indian BIS is the body that gives the product its approval, which means the device is now ready to enter the market. The list of upcoming Samsung mobile phones and smartwatch in the BIS, therefore, means the same: all three products are headed to India and their launch could happen anytime soon.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4, Z Flip 4, and Watch 5
Listing on the BIS website, however, does not exclude anything else. That means that while we know that the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Z Flip 4, and Watch 5 is imminent, their specificity – and apparently, the exact date of launch – is not mentioned. That is why we will expand on what the mob said.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 may come with a better design, but significant improvements may be the cameras, which will still use the 108-megapixel main sensor and the 12-megapixel ultrawide sensor.
The Galaxy Z Flip 4, on the other hand, may come with better hinge design, better water and dust resistance. Samsung’s upcoming Samsung Watch 5 may include larger batteries than the existing model but still comes with the same size 40mm and 44mm.
That’s all we know right now, but as Samsung prepares for launch, we may be able to find out more about the three products.
