Krafton prevents approximately 50,000 Battlegrounds Mobile India players from cheating

Battlegrounds Mobile India developer Krafton revealed that they closed almost 50,000 accounts last week on January 16th.

Battlegrounds Mobile India aka BGMI is a mobile game designed exclusively for Indian players. Game players face a major challenge in a game where hackers can manipulate game information.

Earlier today, Krafton released a post entitled Sanction Against Cheaters detailing how the developer permanently closed 48,847 accounts at Battlegrounds Mobile India.

In the post, Krafton says, “Battlegrounds Mobile India will strive to enforce strict sanctions with the ultimate goal of eliminating the use of illegal programs to provide you with an enjoyable gaming environment.”

Krafton prohibits players from downloading BGMI from an illegal channel or having illegal auxiliary programs on their devices.

Hackers in the game are a big problem for every game developer. Krafton, developer of the famous franchise battle royale game who faces the same problem with his mobile games.

They actively monitor hijackers and cheaters in the game. If they find something suspicious they issue an account blocking program.

Last week from January 3 to January 9, Krafton blocked the accounts of more than 70,000 Battlegrounds Mobile India players.

In related news, the January update of Battlegrounds Mobile India has brought significant changes to the popular battlefield game.
