Kindle Vella Episodic Storytelling Service to be launched in July: All details

Kindle Vella, a new storytelling option, has been introduced by Amazon for readers in the Kindle app. This new service will provide a new way to share serial news with readers over a longer period.

These episodes can be purchased by students with tokens that need to be purchased at the in-app store.

Readers will be able to access Kindle Vella news on the Kindle iOS app and on Amazon at mid-July.

This feature will first be available to US authors only.

Amazon has announced on the Kindle Direct Publishing site that the Kindle Vella will first appear on the Kindle iOS app in July.

Once Kindle Vella news is available to readers, they will be able to find and view the story details page in the Kindle Vella store.

Readers will be able to access the first few episodes of the story for free and use new features like Follow, Faves, and Thumbs Up to get involved.

Once the free trial is over, students will need to purchase tokens to unlock more episodes.

Using this Kindle feature, US writers can publish serial stories, one short episode at a time, to keep their readers busy and buying tokens as they continue their journey.

Amazon recommends that Kindle Vella stories be written directly to be published in serial format, 600-5,000 word-of-word words at a time.

The author has the opportunity to receive 50 percent of what students spend on Tokens used to open news stories.

The number of tokens required to unlock an episode is determined by the episode name count with an average of one token in 100 words.

It is not clear when the Kindle Vellas will be available to Android app users.

Amazon is expected to make an announcement on the exact date of the release of Kindle Vella soon.
