#JEEMains2022 Trends: Engineering Applicants Want JEE 2022 Rescheduled; Here’s Why

With only one day to the start of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2022 session 1, students are calling for the exam to be postponed. The first session of JEE Main 2022 will take place between June 23 and June 29. Today, June 21, the National Testing Agency (NTA) released the JEE Main 2022 admit card. Students, however, want the JEE Main 2022 session 1 exam postponed due to floods in various parts of the country and protests over the union government’s Agnipath scheme. Engineering students have started using the hashtag #JEEMains2022 on Twitter to make their concerns heard, tagging the Education Minister, Prime Minister, and NTA.

Protests against the Agnipath program have taken place across the country. Following the Bihar protests, states such as Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Haryana have also experienced violent protests. On June 24, a farmer’s organization called for a nationwide strike.

Meanwhile, Assam is wracked by floods, which have displaced more than 47 lakh people.

A petition has been circulated by a candidate requesting that the June session of JEE Main 2022 be postponed.

Aspirant urging postponement said: “My centre is 250 km away and all the trains have been cancelled. Internet has been shut down in many districts of Bihar. Farmers are going on a nationwide protest on June 24.”

JEE Main 2022 admit cards are available for download by going to jeemain.nta.nic.in and logging in using the application numbers and dates of birth. There will be no JEE Main admit card 2022 distributed by mail. According to the JEE Main 2022 exam dates, JEE Main will be held in two sessions this year: June and July. The first session will take place between June 23 and June 29, and the second session will take place between July 21 and July 30.
