JEE Main 2023: Aspirants demand postponement of January session

Many candidates have asked the National Testing Agency (NTA) to change the dates of the JEE Main 2023 examinations. The NTA has announced that Session 1 of the JEE Main 2023 will take place in January, followed by Session 2 in April. According to the NTA, the first session of JEE Mains 2023 will be held on January 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30, and 31.

The freshly announced dates, however, have disappointed both teachers and students. JEE Mains 2023 January session dates collide with CBSE board exams. The board practical tests will be held in January, and the theory exams will be held in February.

Soon after the board practical exam dates were announced, the hashtag #JEEMains2023 began trending on Twitter, with many students demanding that Session 1 be postponed until January. They claim that JEE Mains 2023 Session 1 will conflict with CBSE board exam dates.

One of the candidates tweeted that it was the “worst decision” made by the NTA. The student stated that their preparation for the engineering entrance exam will be affected because their preboards and board practicals were scheduled “soon before” JEE Mains. Students want the first session of the JEE Mains 2023 to be moved to April.

The 2023 CBSE Board Exam dates have already been announced, with the practical exams for Class 10 and Class 12 starting on January 1.
