Janmashtami 2021: Child Krishna appeared

Janmashtami 2021: The manifestation of Lord Shri Krishna has been made. In a temple in the city of Krishna in Mathura, the child form of Lord Krishna was brought in a silver soup and kept near Kamadhenu. The faithful had been waiting since morning to see this demonstration. The torrent of Kamdhenu’s milk fell on the child form of the Lord. The whole atmosphere echoed with the hail of God.

On the occasion of Janmashtami (Janmashtami 2021), the whole country is immersed in devotion to Lord Krishna. He is the eighth incarnation of Lord Vishnu. The temples are beautifully decorated in different states. Union Interior Minister Amit Shah is present in a temple in Ahmedabad. The temple of Lord Krishna has been decorated in a grand manner in Mathura, the city of Krishna.

The feast of Janmashtami was celebrated with pomp in various temples of Mathura on Monday. Early in the morning there was a crowd of devotees at Shri Krishna’s birthplace and as the day progressed there was also a crowd of devotees in Vrindavan. The festival was celebrated in three temples of Vrindavan during the day. Kapil Sharma, secretary of Shri Krishna Janmasthan Seva Sansthan, said: “On the occasion of Janmashtami, devotees danced in the courtyard of Shri Krishna Janmasthan with the melodious air played on the shehnai.

Temple public relations officer Rakesh Tiwari said hundreds of worshipers attended the deity’s dedication at Dwarkadhish Temple. The “abhishek” at Radha Raman temple lasted over three hours and the rituals were performed jointly by priests Padmanabha Goswami, Srivatsa Goswami, Dinesh Chandra Goswami and Om Goswami. Dinesh Chandra Goswami said that a total of 27 quintals of curds, milk, honey, khandsari, ghee and herbs were dedicated to Krishna. After the consecration ceremony, Charanamrit was distributed among the inhabitants of Vrindavan and the devotees coming from different places.

Holi was performed with a mixture of turmeric and curd during the Abhishek in the temple of Radha Damodar. Chief Superintendent of Police Gaurav Grover said Janmashtami was celebrated with pomp at other temples in Nandgaon, Govardhan, Baldev, Jatipura, Barsana, Vrindavan and Mathura and that no untoward incidents were reported during this period.
