He said the two terrorists were identified as Sameer Ahmed Shah and Raees Ahmed Mir and resided in Shopian and Pulwama respectively. According to police records, both were involved in numerous terrorist actions. He said offending material, including weapons and ammunition, was recovered from the meeting site.

Earlier, security forces on Thursday arrested a terrorist Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) from Budgam district in Jammu and Kashmir and seized weapons and ammunition from his possession. A police official said security forces had received information about the presence of the terrorist following which a search operation was launched in the Chadoora area of ​​Budgam in the morning.
