It is wrong to call every death due to corona

It is wrong: The Supreme Court dismissed the family’s claim for compensation, treating every corona death as medical negligence (It is wrong). The court said a large number of the deaths were due to the crown. It is sad. But it cannot be said that every death is a case of medical negligence.

Petitioner Deepak Raj Singh had argued that most of the deaths were due to lack of oxygen or lack of necessary treatment facilities. Parliament’s standing health committee feared a second wave of Corona. The government’s attention has been drawn to the lack of oxygen and hospital beds. But the government did not make the appropriate preparations.

In the petition filed by lawyer Sriram Parakkat, it was also said that different governments and institutions allowed the gathering of the crowd. Allowed events like the gatherings of Chubav, Kumbh Mela to happen (It is wrong). The government not only failed to make the necessary arrangements for treatment, but also invited Corona with its negligence. Therefore, every death should be treated as government and medical negligence.

The case was heard today by Justices DY Chandrachud, Vikram Nath and Hima Kohli. The judges refused to treat each death as medical negligence. He said it would be a misconception. The court told the petitioner that if he had any suggestions for the future, he could submit them to the government.
