IPL 2022 Schedule CSK: Chennai Super Kings are a franchise owned by Chennai Super Kings Cricket Limited, India Cements, based in Chennai, being the major shareholder of the company. The franchise was sold to India Cements in 2007 for $91 million, making it the 4th most expensive IPL team behind Mumbai, Bangalore and Hyderabad in the inaugural edition.
The franchise won its 4th Indian Premier League (IPL) title last year with the team managed by MS Dhoni defeating Kolkata Knight Riders in the 2021 IPL Final in Dubai. Apart from 2021, CSK won the IPL crown in 2010, 2011 and 2018.
CSK have had their fair share of controversy and were banned for a 2-year period by the RM Lodha committee with the Rajasthan Royals in 2015 after being found guilty of spot-fixing in the league.
As social media abuzz over Suresh Raina’s ignorance and it likely meant the end of the IPL legend’s run in the league, CSK CEO KS Viswanathan said the combination and team form meant the left-handed UP hitter could not fit into the team.

There will be 12 doubles matches in the tournament and on those days the first match will be played at 3:30 p.m. and the evening matches will be played at 7:30 p.m.
The first double-header will be played on March 27 with a one-day game at Brabourne Stadium (CCI) where the Delhi Capitals will face the five-time champions Mumbai Indians.
