IPhone SE (2022) aka iPhone SE 3 Can Be Opened In The First Part Of 2022 With Apple A14 Bionic SoC

The iPhone SE (2022) aka iPhone SE 3 is recommended to install the Apple A14 Bionic SoC and launch it in the first half of next year.

The next iPhone SE model has been in the news for a while now and has been warned to come with an updated mobile processor.

The current iPhone SE (2020) is powered by the A13 Bionic and the new Apple A14 Bionic, will be the equivalent of the latest iPhone 12 and iPad Air series.

A report by DigiTimes (via Macrumors) states that the third-generation iPhone SE will be released in the first half of 2022.

He added that the phone would be powered by A14 Bionic SoC and that Apple would look to Xintec, a subsidiary of the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC), to work on supplying SoC products.

Xintec previously provided parts for previous generation models of the iPhone SE. With the A14 Bionic, the iPhone SE (2022) is likely to deliver the same functionality as the iPhone 12 series with the new iPad Air and bring in 5G connectivity.

This will make the iPhone SE following the cheaper 5G iPhone model, as shown by Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.

The analyst reportedly shared last month that the new iPhone SE will come with an upgraded SoC, compared to the previous generation, and become a cheaper 5G offering from Apple.

At the time, Kuo also said that in terms of design, it would be “almost identical” to the current iPhone SE (2020).

The first iPhone SE was introduced in 2016 to replace the iPhone 5s. It comes with the Apple A9 SoC but retained the body shape of the iPhone 5s.

Then in 2020, Apple introduced the next generation iPhone SE (2020) which borrowed its design from the iPhone 8 but came up with the Apple A13 Bionic SoC.

The next iPhone SE is expected to retain the same design but improve the interior. Back in April, there were rumors that the iPhone SE 3 would feature a 4.7-inch display equivalent to the current generation of the iPhone SE.
