The iPad mini 6 may not come with a mini-LED display that is thought to be part of the newer iPad Pro and MacBook Pro, with rumors of the first coming months.
The latest speculation comes just days after the iPad mini details appeared on the web. The next generation of iPad models are expected to have a new SoC and a redesigned reconstruction.
In addition to the iPad mini 6, Apple is rumored to have its new AirPod in applications called AirPods 3.
These new wireless stereo (TWS) headphones are expected to launch the launch of the iPhone 13 in September.
Ross Young, CEO of market tracker Display Supply Chain Consultants, on Friday wrote that the iPad mini 6 will not show less LED technology.
Young’s tweet dismissed a recent DigiTimes report suggesting the existence of a mini-LED display for the next generation of the iPad mini.
Apple is rumored to be offering mini-LED displays on its new MacBook Pro models over the course of the year to bring a better viewing experience while other newer versions of the iPad Pro and next-generation MacBook Air are thought to come with mini -LED display next year.
Previous reports have suggested that the iPad mini 6 will be pushing for a new design later this year similar to the iPad Air 4. It was also recommended to have Apple’s A15 chip and the iPad Pro-like magnetic connector smart.
Separately, DigiTimes reported quoting people familiar with the development that Apple is preparing its AirPods 3 (next-generation AirPods) which is likely to launch in the second half of this year.
The launch could take place at the iPhone 13 event in September.
Earlier this year, Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicted that the AirPods 3 could launch in the third quarter of 2021.
An image proposing the construction of a new AirPods model re-emerged on Weibo in April. It showed some similarities with the AirPods 2, although the new model may have slight differences in sensor and audio flow.
However, Koo suggested last year that new AirPods could come with AirPods Pro-like design and its same system-in-package (SiP) technology.
