IOS 14.7 has been released by Apple as a brand new software update for all compatible iPhone models. The new version of iOS comes about a few months after the release of iOS 14.6 released in May.
The iOS 14.7 update brings support for the MagSafe Battery Pack and includes an upgrade list. Along with the iOS update, Apple has introduced watchOS 7.6 and tvOS 14.7 as its new software release.
The watchOS update brings ECG application support and unusual heart rate notifications in an additional 30 regions.
IOS 14.7: What’s new?
Another major change brought by iOS 14.7 is support for the MagSafe Battery Pack launched earlier this month. Software extensions are available for the iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro Max, and iPhone 12 mini.
Designed to basically provide the MagSafe Battery Pack battery status on your iPhone’s home screen.
The iOS 14.7 update also upgrades the home app with the ability to manage timers on the HomePod.
Includes an updated podcast library to let you choose to see all the shows or shows you just follow.
Apple has also introduced the Apple Card Family feature via iOS 14.7 to let you meet credit limits and share accounts with existing Apple Card owners and users.
The update also expands air quality information on Weather and Maps in Canada, France, Italy, the Netherlands, South Korea and Spain.
In addition to the new features, iOS 14.7 fixes some known bugs. This includes non-Apple Music playlists and one unexpectedly stops Dolby Atmos and Apple Music for playing audio.
There is also a bug fix that caused the battery service message to disappear after restarting other iPhone 11 ₹ 52,900 models.
In addition, the update addresses a problem where Braille displays were showing invalid information while composing email messages.
There may be security improvements as part of the iOS 14.7 update which will be specified on the company’s security page.
Apple is likely to release iOS 14.7’s as its last update to the iOS 14 family as it works to launch iOS 15 in the future. A new version of iOS was launched at WWDC last month with a series of features for FaceTime and Message.
watchOS 7.6, tvOS 14.7: What’s new?
Apple has provided ECG application support and unconventional heart rate notifications in an additional 30 regions.
The ECG app is fully compatible with Apple Watch Series 4 and the latest versions. You can check the support regions by visiting the web feature availability on the Apple site.
Specifically for Apple TV users, the Cupertino company delivered tv iOS 14.7’s with “normal performance and durability”.

You can download iOS 14.7’s on iPhone model or iPod touch compatible for iOS 14.
You can download the update by going to Settings> General> Software Update from your device.
Updating watchOS 7.6, your Apple Watch must be compatible with watchOS 7 and newer versions. You can download the update if it is compatible by going to the My Watch tab from the Watch app connected to your Apple device.
Alternatively, you can download the update directly from your Apple Watch.
