Infinix Smart 5A to be launched in India on August 2, Specific details on Flipkart

The Infinix Smart 5A smartphone is ready to be launched in India on August 2, Flipkart interest page reveals. The teaser page also shows the design and specification of the smartphone before its official launch next week.

It will probably be the new model of Infinix Smart 5 launched in India in February this year. Infinix Smart 5A’s battery, color options, weight, and safety lock features have been amused on the Flipkart page.

Flipkart published a dedicated page confirming the launch date of the Infinix Smart 5A on August 2. The phone appears to be playing a waterdrop style display with a small chin at the bottom of the screen.

The volume rockers and power buttons are mounted on the right back of the Infinix Smart 5A’s, while the SIM tray is mounted on the top left edge.

The speaker grille, 3.5mm audio jack, and charging port are all housed on the lower edge of the smartphone.

At the back, the Infinix Smart 5A appears to feature a rectangular camera module with two rear camera sensors mounted one below the other.

There is another dummy cutout below the two sensors marked “AI”, which may indicate the advanced AI power of the phone’s camera setup.

The flash stays close to the camera sensors. The renders show a fingerprint sensor placed on the back of the board.

The Flipkart teaser also shows that the Infinix Smart 5A’s can come in Ocean Wave, Midnight Black, and Quetzal Cyan color options.

The Infinix Smart 5A is amused by installing a 6.52-inch HD + IPS display with 500 nits light.

The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery that lasts up to 19 hours of video playback, up to 28 hours of music playback, up to 13 hours of play time, up to 16 hours of Web surfing, up to 1 hour -33 4G talk time, and 35 days standby time.

The upcoming Infinix Smart 5A is slated to be 8.3mm thin and weighs 183 grams. In addition to the fingerprint sensor, the phone will also support face activation.
