Income Tax Department is conducting searches on Dainik Bhaskar Group in connection with tax evasion case, at multiple locations, as per Sources.
Bhopal: The Income Tax Department raided the homes of the owners of the popular Hindi daily Dainik Bhaskar in Bhopal. Searches are also underway in several of the company’s offices.
Raids by the Income Tax Department were carried out in Bhaskar’s offices in Noida, Jaipur, and Ahmedabad.
The Income Tax Service is researching the Dainik Bhaskar group. A tax evasion case is being investigated in several locations, including the homes and offices of developers, sources cited by the ANI news agency said.
According to initial information, this is a major raid by the income tax department and it is said to be a joint operation with the Directorate of execution.
The phones of all the employees present in Bhaskar’s office have been confiscated. Also, no one is being allowed to go out.
