IIT-M and US Consulate to host virtual workshop to help build the capacity of South Indian educational institutions to host American students.

The Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT-M), in association with the United States Consulate General, will be hosting a virtual workshop here to help build the capacity of educational institutions in South India to host students. American students. The event will be held Nov. 15-18 in conjunction with the United States-India Educational Foundation (USIEF) and the Forum on Education Abroad, according to an IIT-M statement. The last date to apply is October 15, 2021. The workshop includes sessions on credit transfer, safety and mental well-being, the role of Indian students, diversity and inclusion, research, ethical practices and post-pandemic program readiness, the statement added.
