Out of these 1150 students got the chance to get selected in the first phase itself.
In the session 2022-23, IITs have received record offers to students in the last five years.
Institutes in the country as well as abroad have also made offers to IIT students. These are the highest offers received till 15th December. This year the campus placement in IITs is 10% more as compared to last year and this is a record for the last five years.
Thirty international offers have also been received by the students from different institutions. More than 260 students have received pre placement offers.
More than thirty students have received job offers from countries like Hong Kong, Japan, Netherlands, Singapore, South Korea and USA.
Ten students of the institute availed the facility of deferred placement. These are students who want to start startups after graduation. Students availing this option can avail placement facility once within two years. This placement will continue till May.
