IND VS NZ, World Test Championship (WTC) Final Live Updates: Virat Kohli and Vice Captain Ajinkya Rahane have combined well to steer India clear after some hiccups. The partnership is looking solid when the Tea was called due to bad light.

IND VS NZ, Highlights of Day 2 of the WTC final test: Skipper Kane Williamson won the draw and chose to line up first. Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill gave India a good start in the first session with a 62-race partnership. Rohit came out for 34 at Kyle Jamieson. Gill followed him shortly after losing his wicket to Neil Wagner after scoring 28 runs. India scored 69 runs in the opening session for the loss of two wickets.

In the second session, Cheteshwar Pujara came out after scoring 8 runs. Trent Boult trapped him in front of the counters with a swinger. Skipper Virat Kohli and Ajinkya Rahane held the fort against a mostly disciplined Kiwi attack. The two put 58 runs for the fourth wicket. Kohli is approaching his half-century at batting on 44 while Rahane hits on 29. Only a few overs were played in the third session as the bad light played a spoiler. India scored 146 runs from the three-wicket loss in 64.4 overs.
